The Symposium will be held at the Hyatt Regency San Antonio, located on the banks of the famous RiverWalk and directly across from the Alamo. The Hyatt Regency features first class accommodations, a state of the art fitness center, a New Orleans style jazz club, and many other amenities.
We are pleased to be able to offer a reduced room rate of $199 per night (single) for Symposium attendees. You do not need to contact the hotel directly in order to book your room and receive your room confirmation. "River
Walk," these cobblestone and flagstone paths border both sides of the
San Antonio River as it winds its way through the middle of the business
district. The River Walk has multiple personalities - quiet and park-like in
some stretches, while other areas are full of activity with European-style
sidewalk cafes, specialty boutiques, nightclubs and gleaming high-rise
hotels. Riverwalk activities of interest include:
Visiting the King William Historic District
Taking a floating trip down the river
Dining aboard open-air cruisers or among one of dozens of interesting restaurants
Taking a river taxi to Rivercenter, a three-level glass shopping, dining, and entertainment complex
